Using the HP Accessory Center to program the buttons on the Creator Mouse.
All of them work except 'copy' and 'paste'. When pressing the 'copy' button, a
letter 'C' is printed. When pressing the 'paste' button, a 'V' is printed.
I have two laptops with this same problem, but it works fine on my desktop
machine.

Hi @larry_c3,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your mouse!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Verify Software Installation
Ensure the HP Accessory Center software is correctly installed and updated on your laptops. Check for any available updates that might address compatibility issues with Windows 11.
Reassign the Commands
Try reassigning the 'copy' and 'paste' functions manually:
- Open the HP Accessory Center software.
- Select the HP 930 Creator Wireless Mouse.
- Navigate to the button configuration settings.
- Click on the button currently assigned to 'copy' or 'paste'.
- Reassign the function using the correct key combination (Ctrl+C for copy, Ctrl+V for paste).
Check Keyboard Shortcuts
If the reassignment does not work, verify that the keyboard shortcuts function correctly on your laptops:
- Open a text editor.
- Attempt to manually use Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V to copy and paste text. If these shortcuts do not work as expected, there might be an underlying issue with your laptop's keyboard settings.
Test with External Keyboard
Connect an external keyboard to your laptops and test if the copy and paste shortcuts work correctly. If they do, there might be an issue with your laptop's built-in keyboard drivers or settings.
Uninstall & Reinstall Software
Try uninstalling the HP Accessory Center software and any related drivers from your laptops:
- Uninstall the software via Control Panel or the Settings app.
- Restart your laptops.
- Reinstall the latest version of HP Accessory Center from the HP Support website.
- Restart your laptops again and reconfigure the mouse buttons.
I hope this helps.
