Product: HP 255 G8 Notebook PC (347S4AV)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I know my product serial number and product number. I want to update bios. When I enter my information on the software update screen of the hp site, the hp support plug-in does not see my information and therefore I cannot reach the update screen.

Hi:

 

I find it easier to manually search for drivers.

 

There are two of the same BIOS updates (F.33) for your notebook.

 

I have posted the links to both.

 

Install the one that is supported for your notebook.

 

This package provides an update to the system BIOS. The update installs on supported computer models using a supported Windows Operating System. Restart the system to complete the installation.

 

Driver - HP 255 G8 Notebook PC (347S4AV) | HP® Customer Support

 

This package provides an update to the system BIOS. The update installs on supported computer models (ROM family 87D1/87D2/87D3) using a supported Windows Operating System. Restart the system to complete the installation.
