Product: Omen 15 2020 i7 RTX 2070
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Brand new laptop received today. Windows has updated. Opened Omen Command Center and get the message:

 

"The PC is running an older version of OMEN Command Center. Update to continue."

 

Clicking "Update Now" opens the Microsoft Store and proceeds to download and install "OMEN Game Hub". There is no entry in the store for "OMEN Command Center".

 

After installation.  OMEN Game Hub doesn't appear as an app, and OMEN Command Center continues to tell me it's an older version.  Updating simply repeats the process. Rebooting after installation doesn't remedy. 

 

Is the Game Hub an older version? How do I get the latest version of Command Center... on a brand new laptop from the factory?

HP Recommended

Fixed it. Although MS Store said it was installed and gave me the launch button, it couldn't actually install because the app was open. I closed the app and reinstalled. Now no message.
