Product: HP EliteBook 840 G3 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)

Hello,

 

I am unable to connect the HP EliteBook 840 G3 Notebook to my Samsung Monitor. However, when I try to connect my macbook to my monitor using an adapter that has a HDMI and C charger, it works perfectly fine. Can you please help me with this issue?

The USB-C port on your HP EliteBook 840 G3 machine does NOT support video out (Alt mode) therefore you can't connect it to a monitor using USB-C to HDMI cable nor USB-C to USB-C monitor.
