Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I am unable to locate the driver support page for my HP Pavilion 15-n273ea TouchSmart Notebook on the HP Support site.

Can somebody help me locate the drivers?

Thanks

HP retires driver support when the PC becomes 10 years of age, which is why you can't find any drivers on the HP support site.

You can install the drivers and available software from this reputable 3rd party driver site

Strange that HP is not keeping these files archived for its customers. I have a perfectly functioning HP laptop, and I can no longer access the SD card reader.
I am not sure if I should use the link above, as there is a risk that this is dangerous.

I 100% agree with you but that is HP's policy.

I have addressed it a few times with the forum admin team but they have as yet to convince the 'powers that be' that this is a bad policy.

You will have to do without, or you can take hours to look up each file number from that 3rd party driver website and then find the right FTP combination to access the file.

I have used the driverscollection site many times and the drivers are perfectly legit.

To get the drivers from HP you have to know where in the numerical range the softpaq falls in.

For example the first driver under the W10 driver section on the driverscollection site is Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver

When you click to download the file, it shows sp64223.

The softpaqs are arranged from 001-500 and 501-000

So for sp64223 the link in the HP FTP site that driver falls in would be:

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64223.html

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64223.exe

64223 falls between sp64001 and sp64500

So, if you want to go through all of that trouble to get the same exact file that is on the driverscollection website, be my guest.
