Cannot log into active directory account.  I can successfully use a local account on this PC and Active Directory account on other PCs.  This is not a password issue.  Takes 10 minutes for Windows Setup after accepting my password. then puts me into a temp account

After 10 minutes I get the message "We cannot sign into your account" and it advises me "
This problem can often be fixed by signing out of your account and then signing back in.  If you don't sign out now, any files you create or changes you make will be lost.  I then get the option to chose between "Sign Out" button or "Close" button.  A couple times I did as suggested, and signed out and signed back in with the same results. So next time, I click the Close button.  The dialog box goes away and there is no interactive way to use the account.  I press "Command"-R to bring up the "Run" command and type "Powershell".  The user prompt is gp.temp.005 where gp is the name of my domain..  I'm guessing the temp accounts are real user accounts associated with a user ID but no content, created at one time by a failed accessibility to the active directory environment.  Now I am guessing since they are there, I cannot log in at all
