Product: Pavilion laptop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I cannot run new windows update because of compatibility issue with Intel RST driver. Windows says I need updated driver 15.5.2.1054 or newer and that I should go to HP (manufacturer of my laptop) for the customized driver. HP has not made the driver download available without a fee. Shame on HP. So let's start complaining!

Hi:

 

It's not HP's or Intel's problem.  It's Microsoft's problem.

 

You can download the RST driver you need at the link below and most likely it still won't matter.

 

Version: 15.9.6.1044 is newer than the ones that Microsoft is blocking the install on...between versions 15.1.0.1002 and 15.5.2.1053.

There is a major issue that only Microsoft will be able to fix.
