elite x2 1012 g1

I tried to charge my Elite X2 1012 g1 using a standard  usb c charging cable, with no results, i did this to avoid carry with me the cumbersome charger and using an usb outlet in the airport , this laptop uses a different kind of voltage to charge it?

It has 45 W USB Type-C AC Adapter with USB Type-C DC integrated cord (1.8 m) and AC Power cord (0.45 m). Normal USB ports at many airports or stations only have few watts, you need 45W/different voltage

 

You have to use the supplied adapter or
