Hi,
I bought a 100 Watt usb type C charger, but my laptop won't charge with it. The cable is also 100 watt compatibel.
Can anyone help?

Given the date of your post, I would have expected someone to respond to it before this -- but since that has not happened, I will take a shot at it ...
I ran into this same issue with a new HP laptop that has a charging port and USB-C port -- and was told by an HP rep that if the HP laptop model has BOTH ports, it will NOT charge through the USB-C port.
