Pavillion 15-bc047cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

Today I bought a new HP Pavillion 15-bc047cl.

The first thing I try to do is install Chrome, and it will not work. I've tried to install both online and by downloading the offline installer from Chrome, and I get an unspecified error both times (right after the 'installing' bar reaches max).

Does anyone have a solution or know why this is happening.

Thanks

Greetings @Grumpollie

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are unable to install the Chrome browser on your computer, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Have you tried to update all the drivers using HP Support Assistant?

Recommend you make sure all the Windows updates are installed.

Run HP Support Assistant to update all the drivers on your computer. Click here for assistance.

Once all the Windows updates and drivers are updated, please restart your computer.

Press Win + R to get the run dialog box.

Type %temp% and hit enter on the box.

This would bring up the temp folder.

Delete all the files accumulated there, you might not be able to delete some, ignore them.

Now download and install Google Chrome on your computer.

Let me know if this helped.
