I recently bought my daughter this laptop for remote learning this year. And I wanted to surprise her with getting her a skin. But I am completely confused at to what type this is. Every site I have been to wants to know what “G” series g4, g5, g6 etc. I can’t for the life of me find this information anywhere. I’m new to all this so please be kind. And thank you in advance!

Part of the problem might be that your Chromebook is listed as having been introduced in October 2018 - it is not a "G" series, nor does it appear to be a newer model.
4YN77UA — HP Chromebook - 11-v031nr
What does that mean?
Not sure - I have never owned a Chromebook.
I would guess that parts, even "skins" are perhaps less available for a two-year old model.
The series might be enough to help you find what you seek, that is, Chromebook 11
