Hi  @alishan12345

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thank you for reaching out. I understand you are unable to access the Google Play Store on your HP Chromebook x360 G1 Education Edition. I'll be glad to help you work through this.

To better understand the situation, could you kindly share:

  • Are you receiving any error message when opening the Play Store?
  • Has the Play Store worked on this Chromebook before, or is this the first time you are trying to use it?
  • Is the Chromebook managed by a school or organization?
  • Which ChromeOS version is currently installed? (Settings > About ChromeOS)
  • Are you signed in with a personal Google account or a school/work account?

In the meantime, kindly try these steps:

  1. Restart the Chromebook and check if the Play Store appears.
  2. Go to Settings -Apps -Google Play Store and verify that the Play Store is enabled.
  3. Check for ChromeOS updates:
    • Open Settings -About ChromeOS
    • Select Check for updates
    • Install any available updates and restart the device.
  4. Sign out of your Google account and sign back in.
  5. If the Chromebook is managed by a school or organization, verify with the administrator whether Google Play Store access has been restricted.

I hope this helps.
