Pavilion x360 2-in-1 (6th gen i3)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is a 2016 HP Pavilion x360 2-in-1 (model number 13-s102tu) and recently, I followed this Windows Central tutorial to update the default awful non-precision Synaptics driver from HP to a Precision Touchpad driver from this Lenovo website page (the same linked in the Dave2d tutorial). And since then the gestures, the accuracy and pinch-to-zoom all work fairly well but the click mechanism does not work. I tried to install older versions of the "Synaptics UltraNav Driver"  but it's the same. Is there a precision driver that offers click mechanism compatible with my model? The driver listed on the HP drivers page for my model is still a non-precision driver from 2017. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@nadlax, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Have you tried using an external mouse and check if that works fine?

The drivers from non-HP sites may not be compatible and may not work. It is not recommended.

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
