Hello,

after/during "each" update (Windows and HP) I have to disconnect my laptop from the dockingstation (HP Thunderbolt Dock 120 W G4) and switch it off  (cold reset)!.

Could someone help me?

Thanks

Hello.

First, try powering the dock off for a moment - disconnect the cable and power supply for a moment and try again.

Then, check to see that the problem is not caused by any device connected to the dock.

I recommend updating to the latest HP BIOS ("System Firmware") and if your laptop has Thunderbolt firmware available, apply that one as well. Also update thunderbolt and/or display drivers to the latest versions.

Your HP Dock has also had several firmware updates in its lifetime. Download and install the latest version here.

Include your laptop model in your next reply.
