Hello. I recently became the proud owner of an HP Stream 11 running Windows 10 HOME, version 1803.
I can’t find the command prompt or similar command line application. I’ve tried:
-search cmd
-Windows menu > Windows system
-right click Windows menu
-various other unsuccessful methods
Is command prompt or similar not available on this machine for some reason?

Check the following.
Open Settings and then open Personalisation.
Select Taskbar in the left hand pane.
Turn off the option to replace the Command Prompt with Powershell ( 6th option in the list ).

DP-K

Hi David. Thank you fot the reply!
I tried toggling this option, but even with it off, I can’t acceess the command prompt through the Windows System folder or by searching ‘cmd’.
