Thank you for the information on laptop selection.   

Does the Community offer support for laptops during the warranty period?    Beyond?

Depends on what you mean by "support".

 

This is not HP Technical Support, so we have no way of examining or repairing HP machines from here.

 

We can provide links to HP articles and troubleshooting aids -- but that is about it.

 

And, we provide the support without charge, whether or not the HP product is still under warranty.
