After using my HP Deskjet F4272 All-in-one color printer with my HP Pavilion 17 Notebook laptop for many years, I've encountered issues with scanning. The scanned files are now inaccessible, displaying the message 'data invalid'. Running HP Print & Scan Doctor shows that the printer is fine, but the scanner reports 'unable to find Solution Centre application needed for scanning with HP software'. Attempts to reinstall using the original printer installation CD have failed to resolve the issue. Additionally, downloading HP Smart from the Microsoft Store was unsuccessful. Since HP no longer supports my older laptop or printer models, I'm unable to get assistance from them. Is there anyone who can offer some help?

These are the only drivers I can find. Please read the warning
https://us.driverscollection.com/?H=Deskjet%20F4272&By=HP
WARNING: THE ARCHIVE SITES BELOW ARE NOT HP AND PROBABLY HAVE UNWANTED SOFTWARE THAT WILL DOWNLOAD IF YOU ARE NOT CAREFUL
The following two sites have software for older systems that might not be available at HP. The driverscollection site is recommended more than the .eu one. Do not download any "driver downloader" or "updater". Please examine the buttons to ensure they download the actual driver and not a driver helper. Do not click on any advertisements or any page that has the word "AD"
https://us.driverscollection.com
https://drivers.eu/Printers/HP
https://drivers.eu/PC/HP
Close any popup that has "AD" in it. Download only official HP files. For laptops and desktops, the download filename will start with the two letters SP and have the form
SP153214.exe -or-
SP96885.exe etc.
Printer download will have the name or model of the printer in the filename.
Scanning tools can be found here and will require a license.
try and see if it works
