Hello. I have been having an issue with my laptop shutting down. Occasionally, I will be on the laptop for about a minute and it automatically locks. It shows a blue screen that says "Locking" for less than a second then shuts down. The power light remains on but the only way I've found to get it up and running again is to hold the power button until the light goes off then restart it. I can't think of any commonality between any of these episodes, and there's been a few. Can I get any guidance as to why this happening? Thank you.

When you restart after the problem, does is continue to work again?
You could try device diagnostics in case the battery or overheating is an issue.

Perhaps set your power settings to high performance:

Perhaps disable any screensaver or slideshow or customized backgrounds.
