Ever since I have updated my laptop to the newest version of windows, I keep having trouble waking my laptop.  Every morning I try to open my laptop, the screen won’t come on.  The backlight keyboard turns on and the fan starts running but I can’t get the screen to turn on.  I have to hold the power button down until it turns off completely and turn it back on before I can use it again.  I don’t have problems during the day when I’m using it fairly regularly, but whenever I leave it for a while this happens.  Any ideas as to what the problem could be would be much appreciated.  Is it software or hardware?

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "updating Windows to latest version" ? Do you mean you upgraded to build 1903 from previous build ? Could you confirm ?

It is definitely a software issue and is known issue. Your solution is to revert to the previous version and wait Microsoft fix their thing >> https://wintechlab.com/uninstall-windows-10-upgrade/
