Hi I found my laptop's audio was getting strange and tried to fix it by updating the Conexant ISST audio driver and didn't find any updates. According to some old conversations in the community the driver could conflict with Windows Updates, so I deleted the device in the device manager in the hope of installing the driver later. But I found I ended up screwing up both speaker and microphone in the computer and have no driver for Conexant ISST audio to install.
Can anyone help provide the source for the driver? Thanks a lot.

Install HP Support Assistant:
- Download and install HP Support Assistant.
- Use HP Support Assistant to automatically detect and install the necessary drivers for your computer.
- It scans for the latest updates and offers troubleshooting assistance.
Audio Troubleshooter:
- Open Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
- Click on Additional Troubleshooters.
- Select Playing Audio and click Run the troubleshooter.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to detect and fix any audio-related issues.
Reset BIOS:
- Sometimes, resetting the BIOS to default settings can resolve hardware conflicts.
- Restart your laptop and press Esc or F10 to enter BIOS setup.
- In the BIOS, look for an option to restore default settings and save the changes before exiting.
I hope this helps.
