Hi,
my hp-Pavilion charges the battery to 80% only, after 80% it show as ' Plugged in and not charging'
This is because i changed the 'Battery Care Setting ' from the Bios to 80%.
After that i upgraded the Bios to latest version(F.53 Rev.A) , BUT it don`t have the Battery Care Option , and now i want the 100% Charging back
I tried to reinstall the Older version of Bios , it show that, this version is not compatible with Your Device , Please Help to
figure it Out
Thanks

@SatinderPal, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
You may try recovering the BIOS, refer to this document to know how.
Also, Reinstalling Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery under device manager may resolve this issue. Let us try these steps:
Step 1: Click the Windows “Start” button and right-click “Computer.”
Step 2: Click “Manage,” then “Device Manager.”
Step 3: Click the “Batteries” section. A list of devices will appear.
Step 4: Right-click the “Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery” device and click “Uninstall.”
Step 5: Click the “Action” menu item and “Scan for Hardware Changes” to reinstall the driver.
Restart the computer and check.
Also, Click here to run a battery test on the PC. Share the result on your next post.
Let me know how this goes.

Did you try re-installing the ACPI driver and running a hardware test on the battery?
Keep me posted for further assistance.
