I was able to solve the problem by enlarging the “partition reserved for Windows system” by approx. 500 MB.
I came up with this after I received the error message during a manual update to Windows 11 24H2: “The partition reserved for the system could not be updated.”
Hope, this is helpful for other users with this problem.
