Hi there ....

happy HP user here .... I needed to reinstall Windows on my machine and all drivers installed just fine but having error while installing CoolSense. Nothing major but it's kinda nice to have it in running in my system.

Exact error I'm getting says that Net Framework (certain version) needs to be installed in order for installation to continue. Then it asks me if I want to download it ? So I click on yes and then get error from installer saying newer version is already installed no need to install this version.

So my question is how do I fix this ? CoolSense needs Net Framework but apparently I already have newer version in my system so what do I do ?

Thanks in advance for feedback .....

Hi,

Try the following.

Open windows Control Panel and in the top right, next to View by: select 'Large Icons'.  From the new layout, select Programs and Features.

Click on Turn Windows features on or off in the left hand pane.

When this window has loaded, enter a checkmark against .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) then click Ok and follow through the procedure to install this.

When this has completed, restart the notebook.

Let windows fully load for a few minutes, then try running the CoolSense installer again.
