Hp G60-249wm
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Im still in need of a Coprocessor driver for a HP G60-249wm -Windows7, SP1 - 64 bit I know its old but still I know there got to be one somewhere around here .... I tryed the sp37730 but still have had no luck in getting it to install.  any ideas?

Interesting that HP would list the wrong bit version of the driver, but it is the same one on the 32 bit list too, which is why it didn't work.

 

The only other suggestion I can offer would be to try the driver directly from Nvidia.

You should be able to get the coprocessor driver from  Windows 7 update. It will be a hardware update.

Use the Vista 64 bit chipset driver from your notebook's support page...

 

This package contains the driver that enables the NVIDIA nForce MCP77MV Chipset in the supported notebook models and operating systems.

We finally got it!

 

Windows Update...There have been a lot of folks having issues with Windows update.

 

See this related post and hopefully the suggestions offered will work for you...the person that had the problem had an issue with one of the downloads, so read the whole discussion first.  You can download one of the patches in WAWood's first reply and the one marked as the solution has the updated file he posted that seems to work.
