After a "sfc /scannow", I got the following response from the system: "files that are required for windows to run properly must be copied to the DLL Cache; insert Windows XP Professional CD2 now"
I cannot locate the CD. Can my system be fixed any other way?

Hello @Bayo-Ray
Welcome back to the HP Support forum. Thank you for posting again.
As you probably know Windows XP is not officially supported anymore. You will need Windows XP installation disc or Windows XP image. I can provide you with Windows XP ISO. You will need to download it and extract it on your local HDD, then run sfc.exe /scannow again
You can mount the ISO using this free open source app >> http://wincdemu.sysprogs.org/
I will later upload the ISO and give you URL to access it.

Hello,
It took me a while to prepare and to upload the image ISO file but here it is. Download it from here >> https://1drv.ms/f/s!AjnkB_PjXngDgSM5zLObIutcrzcZ

Windows XP Pro - Service Pack 3 - x86 - 32bit
Note that the URL will expire in 10 days from today.
Either download the ISO file and extract it to a folder, and then point the Windows sfc.exe to this folder whenever it needs files to search for
OR
Mount the ISO file using Win CD Emu program and sfc.exe will run and automatically get the necessary files from there.
Hope this works for you. Let me know how it goes
