Hello,

 

My touchpad driver causes an issue with smartsense wherein I cannot turn smartsense off (when I press keyboard keys I cannot move the mouse). Even when I go into the touchpad driver settings and turn smartsene off and it displays as being off, the problem persists. This is very annoying and intolerable for me. My notebook does not have the correct touchpad driver and I cannot find the correct one online. I have tried many different methods, including downloading different ones, HP Analytics (which is a menace that I now cannot remove from my computer!!). 

 

I once found the correct touchpad driver in the past and the problem was solved. However, my notebook had to be restored to factory settings and now I have the problem again. 

 

Please help.  Thank you.
