Hi so I have a hp stream laptop I’m trying to use for uni I need to try and restore it but everything I have tried doesn’t work to restore I need to clear disk space but I can’t clear anything because it says I need permission when I go through all the setting it says the one with permission to everything is ‘SYSTEM’ but I only have special permission tried all the different reboot procedures tried to reset the bios but nothing works and I can’t connect to WiFi because it doesn’t pick up any connections and doesn’t allow me to click on any security options

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer, would be to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.
