Sorry the standalone install didn't work.

I'm thinking it is a Microsoft issue, and what I recommend for now, since they issue these cumulative updates once a month at a minumum, would be to run the Hide Windows Updates utility and hide the troublesome updates from trying to install.

One of these days, a cumulative update will work for you.

I've had them fail to install on some of my PC's from time to time and at the present, all updates have been installed.

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the standalone install of the latest cumulative update that failed.

Since those updates are cumulative, you don't need to bother with the older ones that didn't install.

You want the 3rd one from the bottom of the list.

Sad to say, it did not work. The same thing happened. I think the problem is during the installation. It always says could not complete. Does it have to do with the model?Screenshot_2018-08-25-22-18-18-29.png

i'm seeing that this update is a common problem. my settings removed the defer updates thats why it keeps on updating. the "hide updates" function of the troubleshooter from your link might help. i hope i can update my software in the future. thank you!
