Thanks so much!! I've been trying to solve this for ages!!

your welcome. It was driving me crazy

My problem started out with the cursor jumping back to one spot so I had to use the arrow keys to navigate. I ended up downloading a new driver from synaptics for the touchpad which cured the stuck cursor and left me with the flickering/jumping cursor. Uninstalling simplepass eliminated the flicker and jumping completely. Now back to some REAL work 🙂   Heather

Indeed, this is the simplest solution. No need to unistall SimplePass.

This was absolutely the perfect fix without having to delete SimplePass. Can't believe I didn't think of it myself, thank you very much.

Thanks, this worked perfectly.

Wonder how HP did not see this problem and work with MS to resolve it.

Further, I did not "delete" the files in program directory. It was better to "Uninstal" the programme altogether. This way, you can reinstal later when MS and HP get along and rectify this issue.

Luckily I dont use this One-Pass anyway....

If you are not using this Simple Pass application, try to simply uninstal it.

The result is the same.

I guess you can reinstal later when HP and MS rectify the matter.
