Product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g133
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I just finished doing a clean install of Windows 10 Creators Fall edition. I then downloaded the file sp77575.exe (CyberLink PowerDirector ver 14.0.2.3309 Rev.B).
When I run the file As Administrator, it unpacks itself in to c:\swsetup\sp77575 but does not auto-start the installation routine. Additionally, when I go to the above mentioned directory and try to run the Setup.exe file As Administrator directly, it does not begin the insallation routine either.
I have tried re-booting the laptop before running the Setup.exe file, I have tried shutting the laptop down completely, then booting up to run the Setup.exe file and I have tried to install the previous version of the software as well.
Any help in this area would be greatly apprecitated.

Hello,
CyberLink products require that Microsoft Visual C++ runtime packages are installed on Windows to run correctly.
Make sure that both the 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) versions of Microsoft Visual C++ 20xx below are installed on your computer before installing CyberLink PowerDirector.
- Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999 - Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679 - Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 - Microsoft Visual C++ 2015/2017/2019 Redistributable:

Try installing CyberLink PowerDirector again.

Made sure and ran all 5 C++ for x86 and x64 and it still does not run. You click on yes to make changes to hard drive and the screen goes back to where you started (the folder were setup.exe is located). Windows 10 with latest updates run, including todays. No sign whatever that it was ever run. What now?
