HP ENVY x360 bp008ng
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I recently bought a HP ENVY x360 bp008ng and wanted to use Microsoft Ink with a suitable pen.

I bought a pen from hama for testing purposes but I have a problem: the 15 inch screen makes it impossible to write

without touching the screen on another end.

Thats why I need help. I wanted to disable the touch screen. I looked into the device manager and deactivated "Touchscreen" in Human Interface Devices. Sadly, that also deactivated the pen support and it no longer worked.

Is there a way to solely turn off the touchscreen or is it a problem with the pen? The pen is also not very precise so it could be compatibility problems. Should I go for the HP pen?

Hi @TheJetstream,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query in this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know how to disable the touch and make only the pen work on your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I would like to inform you that it is not possible to disable the touch and make only the pen work on the computer. If you disable the touchscreen even the pen will not work on your computer.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
