Hi!
I have a very upsetting problem with my laptop. I have a high dpc latency and i use an external monitor via a vga-hdmi cable (but i used to have a hdmi-hdmi cable on another monitor and the problem still existed) and i like to play a relaxing game on one screen and watch an youtube video or a movie on the laptop screen. The problem is once in a while the audio and everything lags for a few seconds. It's very anoying...
I've had this problem since i got the laptop (second hand, but it was not used, it appeared to be new) and i thought it's just a windows problem and it would go away if i install a fresh windows, but it wasn't the case. The lag did appear on rarrer ocassions after the install.
I don't really care about the best latency, i don't use this laptop for audio production and professional stuff, but i want it to run good enough.
My laptop specs:
Processor AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics 2.90 GHz
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.4 GB usable) (i upgraded the ram from 2 stick of 4 to 2 sticks of 16 3200 mhz cl 22)
GTX 1650 TI 4GB
M.2 SSD intel 660p 512gb (the ssd it came with)
Adata su630 480gb (second drive installed by me)
Windows 10 pro 21h1
What i tried so far:
-update every driver
-uninstalled drivers with ddu and installed them from hp site or manufacturer
-disabled things in device manager one by one (only one that seemed to do something was microsoft acpi, but it did disable my gpu and peripherals)
-fresh windows install
-use high performance in power options
I will add the latencymon report and i hope someone can help me.
Thanks in advance!

CONCLUSION
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Your system seems to be having difficulty handling real-time audio and other tasks. You may experience drop outs, clicks or pops due to buffer underruns. One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver running in your system appear to be executing for too long. At least one detected problem appears to be network related. In case you are using a WLAN adapter, try disabling it to get better results. One problem may be related to power management, disable CPU throttling settings in Control Panel and BIOS setup. Check for BIOS updates.
LatencyMon has been analyzing your system for 0:45:54 (h:mm:ss) on all processors.

CPU SPEED
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Reported CPU speed (WMI): 290 MHz

MEASURED INTERRUPT TO USER PROCESS LATENCIES
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
The interrupt to process latency reflects the measured interval that a usermode process needed to respond to a hardware request from the moment the interrupt service routine started execution. This includes the scheduling and execution of a DPC routine, the signaling of an event and the waking up of a usermode thread from an idle wait state in response to that event.
Highest measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 628.30
Average measured interrupt to process latency (µs): 7.649751
Highest measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 621.50
Average measured interrupt to DPC latency (µs): 2.424419

REPORTED DPCs
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
DPC routines are part of the interrupt servicing dispatch mechanism and disable the possibility for a process to utilize the CPU while it is interrupted until the DPC has finished execution.

Driver with highest DPC routine execution time: ndis.sys - Network Driver Interface Specification (NDIS), Microsoft Corporation

REPORTED HARD PAGEFAULTS
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Hard pagefaults are events that get triggered by making use of virtual memory that is not resident in RAM but backed by a memory mapped file on disk. The process of resolving the hard pagefault requires reading in the memory from disk while the process is interrupted and blocked from execution.
NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which programs were hit.
Process with highest pagefault count: msmpeng.exe
Total number of hard pagefaults 129055
Hard pagefault count of hardest hit process: 65247
Number of processes hit: 102
