I have 2 HP accounts. They are different emails and are both connected to my laptop. How do I delete one of the accounts or merge the accounts?

Hi @Raf_Matias,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for reaching out. I can certainly help clarify the options, but first I’d like to understand which HP accounts you are referring to, as there can be different types of HP accounts and services associated with an email address.

Could you please clarify the following?

  • Are these two HP account email addresses used to sign in to the HP App/HP Support website?
  • Are both accounts currently signed in or connected through the HP App on your laptop?
  • Do you have HP printers or other HP products registered to both accounts?
  • Is either account associated with HP Instant Ink or an HP All-In Plan?
  • Are you trying to delete one account completely, or would you like to keep the information/products from both accounts under one email address?
  • If you are seeing two accounts within the HP App, please tell us what you see when you click the account/profile icon. A screenshot of that page would also be helpful (please hide the email addresses or other personal information).

Once we know whether you mean your HP account, HP App login, Instant Ink account, or another HP service, we can provide the appropriate instructions. We don't want to recommend deleting an account before confirming what services or products are associated with it.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
