I would start with scanning for/repairing any missing or corrupted system files as follows:
- Open your Start menu.
- Search for “Command Prompt”
- Right-click on Command Prompt.
- Select the “Run as administrator” option.
- Type or copy: SFC /scannow (please notice the space between C and /) and press Enter.
Once you execute the command, the SFC tool will scan your system and tries to fix any corrupted files. The whole process will take some time to complete.
When this has been completed type or copy: dism /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth (again, please notice the various spaces).
What this command will do is fixing any additional problem(s) identified in your (W10) operating system.
Once this is all done, you can safely close ( type: exit ) the command window, and restart your laptop.
See if this has resolved your delete error issue.
If it hasn't, please follow the steps outlined here: SOLVED: How to Fix Error 0x80004005 - Appuals.com.
If this still doesn't fix things, please let me know.
Kind Regards,
