The x360 has a TPM chip (I've installed the update so it's bug free and working) but Device Encryption is unavailable.
Is it possible to activate it?

Hi @mouse-rat
Device encryption is a "cut" version of Bitlocker and is applicable for selected devices only (mostly portable low-end devices or tablets). For your PC, the best option would be upgrade to Windows 10 Pro edition :
- ability to postpone Windows updates and upgrades
- ability to control a lot more from the available software
- Bitlocker feature

If you are not willing to pay, best would be to download/run Vera Crypt - details present in the HowToGeek article:
