Hi all,
Can someone help me with a picture / video of device manager for Hp Envy 15 ep 1002na. I reinstalled the windows, and my screen is black, the laptop is running because I can hear it, however I will need step by step to go in device manager, and enable the nvidia, just to let you know I was trying to use an external monitor and doesn't show anything, I did a reset and everything and again the screen stays black. Please can you assist further (a video link or step by step how to go in my device manager without seeing anything in my laptop will help) ? Many thanks for your support in advance. Best

@Luxi, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding How to Access Device Manager and Enable Nvidia Graphics!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Connect an External Monitor (if not already connected).
Turn on your Laptop and wait for it to fully boot up (listen for the sounds that indicate it's running).
Blind Navigation in Windows:
- Press Windows + P key to bring up the Project menu (this toggles display modes and might help if the external monitor isn't showing up automatically). Press P multiple times and then Enter to cycle through the options:
- PC screen only
- Duplicate
- Extend
- Second screen only
Access Device Manager:
- Press Windows Key + X, then press M. This should open Device Manager.
Navigate Device Manager (blindly):
- Press Tab to switch focus to the device list.
- Use the arrow keys to move down to "Display adapters" and press right arrow key to expand it.
- Use the down arrow key to select your Nvidia adapter.
Enable the Nvidia Adapter:
- With your Nvidia adapter selected, press Shift + F10 to open the context menu.
- Press Down Arrow Key to select "Enable device" if it's not already enabled (if disabled, it should be the first option).
- Press Enter to enable the device.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
