Hey there,
I have been trying to troubleshoot a problem on my laptop, the battery works perfectly except for when it gets to around 82-84% where it then stops charging. HP support assistant says that the battery works perfectly, with and without charger until it gets to 84% where it then says the battery needs to be replaced. I was wondering whether there was a method to disable the battery care function so I can eliminate that as a possibility for this to occur for me. I have already looked in the bios and the only option were I think something like 100% 80% and like 50% or something like that (no disable option).
Thanks!

Hello @khkamran249
(1) Analysis
Full Charge Capacity: 45 WHr (64%)
Remaining Capacity: 37 WHr
The battery already has a few charging cycles, but it has lost significant capacity, so it needs to be replaced.
(2) You should follow the recommendation "Replace" from <HP> in any case !
--->>> So please replace the battery.
Kind regards

Hello @khkamran249
As desired to "disable" battery care, set the value to 100% ,save settings and exit BIOS.
Thus, there is no longer a limit and the battery can be fully charged.
I recommend using up the battery to 30% remaining capacity 1 to 2 times per month and then recharging it. Then it should last longer.
A healthy balance is recommended.
