How can I disable my laptop inbuilt keyboard as some keys are not working. I'd like to instead place an external USB keyboard ontop of my lap , so how do I disable. I tried uninstalling device from manager - doesnt work. Updating driver to incompatible one used to work but stop working after some update ig. Now what can I do ?

Not aware of any settings or software you can use to disable the built-in keyboard. You would have to open the case and disconnect the ribbon cable -- and that voids any existing warranty.
