have a new HP laptop with Windows 11. In just a few hours, I've seen tons of notifications with ads. The experience is really awfull. Microsoft, HP, and lots ot useless demo software offering sales in my machine. I have not paid for this, and it's a unacceptable to tolerate all this.

How can I disable all this at once, in a single step?

Welcome to the HP Community --

Some of this can be controlled in your Windows Notifications.

The concept is the same as in previous versions of Windows.

Settings > System > Notifications

Switch OFF Notifications

OR

If there are one or more notifications you want to allow,

Switch ON Notifications

Scroll down

Switch OFF those apps in the list that you do not want to see.

Next,

Not enough?  Do not want the apps even listed?

Open Set priority notifications

Click on the right side of the name of the app on the "three dots" menu > Remove

Still not enough?

See the Settings available in Notifications > Do Not Disturb

and / or

Settings > System > Focus

What else?

True in Windows 11 as in previous versions of the Operating System,

Much of what might plague you can come in from your Browser.

Adjust your Browser Settings to prevent Pop-ups or at least show the onslaught to those you wish to allow.

Thanks Dragon-Fur for your fast response. I guess the approach will finaly require several extra steps, as I must remove the demo software installed that is useless, change several notifications to OFF for HP, Microsoft, and other vendors where I must keep the soft but stop the ads, and so on.

I miss the old days where there was a request for permission before vendors doing this, instead of generating that much extra work to users.

You are welcome.

Perhaps there is "an app for that" somewhere.

Would make sense.

The code might not be overly difficult.

Browser security apps are abundant -- check for what makes sense to you.
