The specs of your machine is

It has 8 GB DDR4-2400 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) & a slow 1 TB 5400 rpm SATA HDD therefore tasks are swapping & paging to disk a lot which cause HDD is spinning itself to dead,
You can
1. Increase RAM up to 32GB to reduce paging & swapping using Crucial 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR4-2400 SODIMM
2. Add 1TB or 2TB M.2 SSD using Crucial P3 Plus 2TB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD and move boot drive to it, keep existing HDD for storage
You can do 1 first and 2 later or BOTH at the same time.
