Hello,
After a recent Windows HP driver update, the brightness (Up/Down) hotkeys are no longer working on my Zbook 14u G6. All of the other hotkeys are functioning correctly (Volume, Airplane Mode, Etc.) just not the brightness. I've confirmed that I can still control this in software (from the Windows settings slider). I just can't get the hotkeys to function.
I've already tried reinstalling the "HP Hotkey Support" driver (v8.0.13.1 Rev.A) from the support page to no avail. I also looked into uninstalling the windows updates but WU will only let me uninstall the Microsoft patches and hotfixes, not the driver updates that were included with Windows. It's immensely frustrating.
Please let me know if anyone has ideas other than reformatting the whole laptop over a few hotkeys.
Thanks!

I was able to fix this by installing "HP Collaboration Keyboard" which was previously not needed before the driver update for the brightness keys to work. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
