Do w10 need Apple-SW?

    Hello All:

   The OS of my pc is typical w10 and my machins is from HP. 

    I check my Control Panel/Program/uninstall a program, there are two

strange softwares:

                            (1)   Apple Application Support (64-bit)

                             (2)  Apple Support update.

    Apple is working on HANDPHONE, the both SW above is no connection with 

this w10 pc/OS! How do they came here?

     Can I delete them?

My HP machines do not have them. Did you connect any Apple devices to your machine previously ? If yes, system may install those apps automatically.  It is up to you to keep or uninstall them.

Note: I don't use Apple products, only iPhone but returned it.

   Thanks for your reply. Your reply reminds me that 2-year ago, I had used iTune. The 2-SW from Apple might

from then. I decided to delete them.

    BUT I am confused by a consequent phenomena.

     Before deleting, I took a look of used space in C: by properties. it was 39GB. After deleting the 2-SW of Apple, the used space changed to 50GB.  It increased 11GB!  

   Deleted 2-software, the used space should be decreased, why does it increase!
