Does my laptop support HDMI over usb-c? HP Pavilion x360 14m-ba013dx
I know it's an older laptop now. I want to make it easier for me to move it around, but un/plugging everything is a pain. I want to buy a hub/dock that just plugs into its usb-c port, connecting my external monitor and power supply through. Will this work on this older model?
Thanks

No, its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05561158
It ONLY has 1 USB 3.1 Type-C™ Gen 1 (Data up to 5 Gb/s) port which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter (some hubs may have builtin chip to support this)
If you wish to connect 2 external monitors (only), you can use
- Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
- Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as
For more connectivity, please use
True Universal Docking Stations
Regards.
