HP Recommended
Product: Example: NOTEBOOK 15 R078TU
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Does R078TU (HP NOTEBOOK 15,N3540) has ssd and ram slots ? Also,what should i do to make laptop faster ? i mainly use it for browsing and while running mozilla it seems lacking . Any suggestions would be helpful .

Its specs

It has slow processor, RAM and HDD. Very little you can do about its processor but for

 

1. RAM: You should be able to upgrade to 8GB (add 4GB more to slot 2) or 16GB using

                          4GB:          https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct51264bf160b/ct12372084

                 or  16GB:          https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct2kit102464bf160b/ct12372086 

 

2. STORAGE: You can replace to 2.5" SSD using

               https://www.crucial.com/ssd/mx500/ct1000mx500ssd1/ct12372092

 

Both upgrades will help you to run better. Depending on your budget, you can do the first one first.
