Hi HP Community.
There is a folder named “HP ProBook 650 G3” in my “This PC/Downloads” folder. That “HP ProBook 650 G3” folder is approximately 3 GB in size.
Can I safely delete that “HP ProBook 650 G3” folder from my “This PC/Downloads” folder to recover that 3 GB of space on my SSD?
If I can safely delete that “HP ProBook 650 G3” folder from my “This PC/Downloads” folder, then should I create a new, empty “HP ProBook 650 G3” folder in my “This PC/Downloads” folder to replace the old, 3 GB folder?
Thanks HP Community.

Hi:
You may want to open the folder and see what's in there.
That folder should contain all of the program and driver installation files that came with your notebook.
It is safe to delete but back the folder up to a portable hard drive, in case you need to install any programs or drivers from that folder.
You don't need to re-create an empty folder by that name.

Thanks for the reply.
I copied that 3G folder to OneDrive. I am in the process of recovering that 3G of disk space from my SSD.
From the date/time stamps, those folders and files are not from installation. They have to do with subsequent updates. FYI.
