I have recently bought a 2nd hand Spectre and thought I'd check whether it's up to date in terms of firmware etc. i went onto the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads site and quite a lot came up. I was wondering if I am OK to go ahead myself as I'm not too technical. Also wondering if there was a hierachy that which should be installed first?

Hello @Quantumturbo
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
There is a more simple way - use Windows Update and/or HP Support Assistant. There is no need to download/run these all, as you might break something.
HP has created an official article >> https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03330139
- Ensure Windows is updated. Most important driver updates will come from there, in colabaration between HP and Microsoft
- Download/run HP Support Assistant - run it and update the drivers. Do NOT download BIOS updates
Let me know how it goes
