Hi,
I'd like to download ISO file of Windows 7 Pro 64bit from this page:
https://www.microsoft.com/pl-pl/software-download/windows7
so that I can burn it on a DVD and use it as an installation disc while installing the system on my Elitebook 8470p. (The laptop was bought with the exact version of Windows : win7 pro 64bit).
However, when I typed the produkt key from the COA label on my elitebook into that Microsoft downloading page, I got an error saying:
"The product key probably refers to a software preinstalled by device manufacturer. Contact the device manufacturer to get to know options of recovery of the software."
Where can I download Windows7pro ISO file for my Elitebook? (and then activate the system with the product key from the COA label on my laptop)
Thank you for help

Hi:
This site claims to have genuine, unadulterated W7 ISO files for download...
https://www.heidoc.net/joomla/technology-science/microsoft/67-microsoft-windows-iso-download-tool
Click on the link labeled Windows ISO Downloader.exe
You can use the:
Win 7 Pro SP1 (Retail version, but the OEM key on your PC's case should work with it)
Then you can use this tool I zipped up and attached below, to transfer the file to a 4 GB USB flash drive or a DVD.
Otherwise, you will have to order W7 recovery media from HP.

You can contact HP for the country you live in at the link below and request recovery disks.
http://welcome.hp.com/country/w1/en/support.html
HP will send recovery disks, not an ISO file, and there may be a charge depending on what country you live in.
