The last couple months I have received a message that I need to download and install the Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver (1703) Have tried several times and after about 45 min it tells me 'installation has failed'. What can I do???

Hey there! @Lea2, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!
I understand you need graphics driver for your laptop.
Don't worry I'll try to help you out.
Did you make any software or hardware changes to your laptop?
Try uninstalling the graphics from device manager.
Hold Windows key + Letter R key.
Run dialog box would open type devmgmt.msc
Device manager window will open.
Expand Display adapter and right click AMD graphics adapter and click uninstall.
And restart your PC.
Download and install Intel driver auto detect utility on your PC. It should install the best drivers for your laptop.
Install the Intel auto detect utility from Intel website using this link.
Also, try updating the BIOS and other drivers using HP support assistant and check if it helps.
Refer this article to know more information about using HP support assistant.
If the issue still persists after trying out the steps update the driver using recovery manager.
Refer this article to know how to restore drivers using HP recovery manager.
