Dears

Is there anyone who can help me with this issue. windows not booting up and faced with error DRIVER-PNP-WATCHDOG. I tried installing windows with both rufus, media creator and other tool not possible.

I tried booting up with external HD with windows to go, again not working.

I tried windowskey+B and power button to rewrite bios but no use.

but I could install Linux-UBUNTU and cleared all my partitions, again tried all above no result.

I tried all the hardware check and all passed. they said maybe my Drive is damaged but showing ok, by installing ubuntu the whole 512GIG is fine and working.

I am really stuck and dont know what to do????????

Has anybody faced such???

I appreciate anyone who can get me out of this mess.

Hi

Thank you so much for your help.

Unfortunately I have done the hard reset and it has not helped. The issue is that even laptop doesn't get into repair mode, it writes preparing the auto repair on screen, but after long time blue screen appears with DRIVER PNP WATCHDOG and restarting again.

I tried to install a new version of windows anyway but it didn't work , windows media control,,, , Rufus, .... but anyhow the system wouldn't boot from USB, but as soon as I managed to make a UBUNTU USB, I could go on and reinstall that, I lost all my data thinking that there has been a malware. But even now I cannot install windows. The funny thing is that in boot up I always have to press F9 to choose Ubuntu manually,  although I formatted the SSD but still the old windows is there and try to boot from that, but as it doesn't have any file it fails, and manually via F9 I boot Ubuntu.

Now I have installed virtual machine on my laptop to use windows, this is how desperate I am.

I really really really appreciate if you could help me further. in my searches I found several such issue in communities and forums, exactly like me, and via those messages I realized I can install Ubuntu.

Many thanks,

ArsanJani
