Driver update wont go away

Hope you are doing well.

I have a problem which is a driver update that won't go away no matter how many times I install it.

I tried to restart the "Windows update" service but no luck.

This is the driver update

Hi:

I have had the same thing happen to me on a couple of my HP notebooks.

I tried several times to install it to no avail.

I have come to the conclusion that if the driver doesn't install, it is not for our model notebooks.

What I did and what you can do would be to run the Hide Windows Update utility from the link below.

Hide Windows Updates or driver updates (microsoft.com)

Check the box to hide the HP update that isn't installing and it won't show up again.
